Distribution/known sites in Monterey County:  only three known sites - Fort Ord dunes, upper Carmel Valley Rd., Los Padres Dam; other sites likely overlooked due to ID confusion with P. acmon

Habitats:  chaparral, rocky outcrops

Host plants: sulphur, buckwheats

Adult foodflower nectar

Conservation: may be required for some highly local pops.
